MLMotorsport was established in 1998 by Andy Davies to offer workshop services for the Classic mini, tackling all aspects of working on the little classic! Our cars have won show and shine awards, with a 'car of the show' award at the prestigious London to Brighton mini run in the early 00s, Our cars have achieved class wins and podium places in sprints and hillclimbs from NorthWeald aerodrome/crystal palace to the Isle of Man TT course in 2013. to a top ten result in the Brighton Speed Trials in 2019.

 We have restored many minis over the years along with helping with customers own projects, re-commissioning laid up cars, Keeping them alive, We have built up a large knowledge base on the A-series engine and gearbox, in conjunction with ACDodd one of the most talented engineers in the business from building an engine to setting up the carburettors and engineering solutions for repairing them, working with talented individuals such as Mark Kingscott in the past and Eastwood autos and altered images now along with kevin and neil at Dartford rebore engineering and johnny guess on the transmissions, I can offer Mechanical and Bodywork and paint services. on the electronics side I work with talented old guys like our man claude to the young highly knowledgeable experts on the R53 like Haywood

Over the years I also have got involved with the now buoyant 'retro car' scene that has seen us restore and improve Bmws, Fiats and other 80s and 90s now classics!

Ive raced minis and other makes in sprints and trackdays since 1998 so have built up a little experience on what makes a car especially a mini perform, again from building experience I can give an honest opinion on what works and what doesnt, Ive turned the money into noise so sometimes you dont have to!

With the new MINI appearing in 2000 we also are building up knowledge of working on these and in conjunction with our own R53 and R56 Cooper S learning tools! the R53 which we have been sprinting and track daying. set to become what may be the last of the modern classics the MINI and Classic mini will be the main part of our business for the years to come.
